1. Warning Notice – Homeowner receives a Warning Notice via e-mail[i]. Homeowner has 10 days to correct and notify the Board.
2. Violation Notice – Homeowner receives a Violation Notice for failure to comply with step 1 above.  Homeowners will have 10 calendar days from the date of the Violation Notice to notify the HOA Board of the proposed corrective action and completion date.
3. Fine Notice - Homeowner receives a fine notice for $25 per day per violation for failing to notify the HOA Board of the corrective and completion date required in the Violation Notice. The Homeowner will have 10 days from the date of the Fine Notice to pay the fine and resolve the issue.
   Failure to pay the fine and correct the violation within 10 days may result in the suspension of HOA membership, placing a lien on the property and/or referred to our contracted law firm of Lazega & Johanson LLC for future handling.

Dear Magnolia Walk HOA Member,
 
This is a follow up to our last update of March 24, 2024.
 
We wanted to remind everyone that the Rezoning hearing is coming back before the Gwinnett County Planning Commission this coming Tuesday May 7, 2024, at 7:00PM, at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Auditorium located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA  30046.  We ask that you: (1) attend the Hearing in person; (2) wear a white shirt or T-shirt, or a white sweater; and (3) be prepared to write a short email to County Commissioner for District 1, Kirkland Carden.  A sample email will be sent to you in a separate e-mail sometime next week.  Below is link to a document with a detailed update.

Dear Magnolia Walk HOA Member,
 
This is a follow up to our email of March 27, 2024, regarding the above subject.
 
On April 3, 2024, the Magnolia Walk HOA Board of Directors (Jessica, Paul, Alan and Otis) met with the Gwinnett County Planning Commissioners Nick Nicolosi and Irman Niazi to address our opposition to the proposed rezoning.  In summary, the Commissioners were very cordial, they listened to our concerns, share their knowledge about the proposed project and took notes.  A summary of our meeting will be distributed shortly.  Special thanks to Father Jack at for facilitating the meeting venue. 
 
Your attendance in person at tomorrow's hearing is very important as it shows our being unified in opposition to the current rezoning plans. Please make arrangement to attend.  The Planning Commission Hearing is scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00PM at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Auditorium located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA  30046.  We encourage you to attend in person and if you do, please wear RED colors (red shirt or sweater) and try to be there prior to 7:00PM.  I plan to leave the house by 6:15PM and get to the Administration Center Auditorium by by 6:30PM.  Call me at 404 245-8074, if you need a ride.

Proposed Rezoning from R-100 to R-TH for Track of Land Across from Magnolia Walk Subdivision - Update 3/24/2024.

 

This is a follow up to our email of March 19, 2024, regarding the above subject.
 
On Thursday March 21, 2024, Magnolia Walk Board members (Paul Vasquez and Otis Brinson) and homeowners David Finch, Tina Brinson and Dave Sousa, attended the Public Forum arranged by the Law Firm (Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP) representing the developer (Walker Anderson Homes) to discuss the scope of the proposed rezoning.

This is to advise all of you about the dismal departure of Patricia Gail Schramm.  Dearest Mother of Tracy Polson and mother in-law of one of our Board of Directors Alan Polson - 1146 Hiddenbrook Lane.

 

The whole Magnolia Walk community communicates profound and sincere sympathies to the grieving family.

 

Her funeral (visitation only) is set for Thursday April 14, 2022, at Bill Head Funeral Home - Duluth Chapel
3088 Duluth Highway, Duluth, GA, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.

Ali Kotadiya at 3423 Forestwood Drive, has reported the following incident to the Board and requested to alert other homeowners.

The CDC released safety guidelines discouraging Americans from participating in traditional trick-or-treating this year.

The cleaning of the tennis courts has been rescheduled.

This is to let you know that the tennis courts will be closed on Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30.

Claude L. Pursell, age 82, of Suwanee, GA, peacefully passed away Monday, October 19, 2020.

Claude Pursell at 1241 Hiddenbrook Lane, has passed away.

A Special Board of Directors meeting was held on June 2, 2020 at the pool parking lot.

The Board of Directors decided to close the pool until further notice due to Covid-19.
