FAQ

The pool typically opens on Memorial Day weekend unless an issue arises preventing it from opening (i.e. pool repairs, hazardous cleanup, etc.) If this occurs, we will send out a notification to all homeowners explaining the reason and an updated opening date.

The pool typically closes the 1st week after Labor Day unless we have unseasonably warm weather, and in which case we may postpone the closing date.

No animals or pets are allowed in the pool or tennis areas.

An adult, at least 18 years of age, must accompany children under the age of 12 at the pool.

Gazebos, cabanas, pergolas, arbors, etc., need Board approval. 

Permanent above ground pools are not approved. In ground pools need approval.

Spas above and below ground need approval. 

Dying Juniper plants can be removed and replaced with sod without Board approval.  However, if you want to remove juniper plants and replace them with other type of plants, then Board approval is required.  

if you replace the roofing on your home with the same material and color 
that it is today, no approval is needed but if you change the material or color, 
approval is needed. 

Retaining walls and permanent edging needs approval.

Non-permanent edging in natural stone, bricks, metal and or plastic do not need approval. 

No fence shall be over 6' tall.

Wooden privacy fences must be painted the color of the trim on the home or stained (color of stain must be approved). They must be maintained to have a neat and pleasing manner, which included repair of gates and boards.

Metal fences shall be black in color. NO CHAIN LINK FENCES ARE ALLOWED. Fences may be only erected in the rear yards of the home, not to be closer to the street than the rear corners of the residence.

Freestanding flagpoles are not permitted. One attached tot he house does not require approval if it is under 7' in length.

No basketball goals shall be erected to be visible from the street. 

Exterior landscape lighting requires board approval.

Sheds and out buildings are not allowed.

Windows air conditioning unites are not allowed.

Playground equipment or a tree house that would be visible by your neighbors requires approval.

No exterior improvement or structure shall commence that reflects a change or alteration to the home or yard without written plans, specifications and approval by the ACC.

If you paint your house the same color, as it is painted today, no approval is required. If you want to change the exterior color of your house, then you will need approval by the ACC before proceeding.

Mailboxes must remain uniform. If your mailbox is damaged, you must replace it with the same type.

Bricks on the home may not be painted without approval from the ACC.

Screen doors and storm doors on your front door are not allowed.

Fountains under 36" do not need ACC approval. If you want to install a fountain 36" or taller, you will need ACC approval. Additionally, if you want more than three fountains in the front yard, you will need ACC approval.

Holiday decorations are allowed but should be removed no later than 30 days after the holiday.

No vehicles of any description shall be parked on the streets for more than six hours in any 24-hour period.

No motor home, camper, boat, motorcycle, commercial vehicle or trailer shall be parked or stored in such a manner as to be visible from the street or any other residence.

All blinds, shutters and/or window treatments visible from the street in front of your home shall be white or alabaster color.
