I met and married my wife Aida when we both were freshman students at the University of Alabama.  We will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary on June 1st.  How about a Roll Tide Roll!  I am a professional engineer with a passion to build and/or improve structures, processes and management systems.  Aida and I enjoy gardening and traveling to the Caribbean and Europe.  We moved to Georgia in 1988 and lived in Norcross, Duluth and then found our nest in Magnolia Walk subdivision in Suwanee – the year was 2000.  We have 3 sons and 7 grandchildren.  Our oldest son is an executive with a transnational food corporation.  Our middle son is a Major in the US Army (Reserve) and working for a digital energy management company.  Our youngest resides in St. Thomas, US Virgin Island – living la vida loca.  It is fulfilling to go back in time and think about the places where have you lived, the friendships and memories, and then realize that Magnolia Walk is the best investment we have ever made.  For the last 21 years, we have lived in Magnolia Walk and seen our community grow like no other.  We are here to stay and perhaps retire here.  I have been on the Board of Directors off and on for several years and as a homeowner and board member, I have the utmost interest in protecting the value of our homes and community.

 

My wife, Tina, and I have lived in Suwanee for over 23 years and have been residents of Magnolia Walk for over 13 of those years. We have two sons, and this community has provided a great foundation for them to grow up in. In addition to raising our two boys, Tina and I are also both full-time care takers for our older siblings. We have also been active members of Peachtree Ridge Park for over 16 years serving as coaches, GFL Reps, & PR board members.  I have a passion for helping others reach their potential and would love to use that same enthusiasm in making our community beautiful and safe.

In our free time, we love hanging out and traveling with friends to explore the world.

 

Alan is a self made entrepreneur and has had many successful businesses over the past 30 years. His favorite hobby is spending time in his backyard oasis with a customized pool he personally designed. He and his wife frequently enjoy having their children and their significant others over, and they particularly love spending time with their two grandchildren.
