Proposed Rezoning from R-100 to R-TH for Track of Land Across from Magnolia Walk Subdivision - Update 4/8/2024

Dear Magnolia Walk HOA Member,
This is a follow up to our email of March 27, 2024, regarding the above subject.
On April 3, 2024, the Magnolia Walk HOA Board of Directors (Jessica, Paul, Alan and Otis) met with the Gwinnett County Planning Commissioners Nick Nicolosi and Irman Niazi to address our opposition to the proposed rezoning. In summary, the Commissioners were very cordial, they listened to our concerns, share their knowledge about the proposed project and took notes. A summary of our meeting will be distributed shortly. Special thanks to Father Jack at for facilitating the meeting venue.
Your attendance in person at tomorrow's hearing is very important as it shows our being unified in opposition to the current rezoning plans. Please make arrangement to attend. The Planning Commission Hearing is scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00PM at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Auditorium located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. We encourage you to attend in person and if you do, please wear RED colors (red shirt or sweater) and try to be there prior to 7:00PM. I plan to leave the house by 6:15PM and get to the Administration Center Auditorium by by 6:30PM. Call me at 404 245-8074, if you need a ride.
